EVIDENT CONSULTING BRINGS YOU OVER 20 YEARS OF INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE.

We have worked with high performing organisations and people in the public, private, education, charitable and community sectors. Themed areas include: business intelligence, innovation, economic development, regeneration, skills, funding, social policy, political advocacy, customer insight, European/International cross-national working, arts, heritage and sport. All of Evident Consulting's services can be provided bilingually (French-English), essential for EU programmes and funding.


Peter founded Evident Consulting in 2011 and has a background that spans Local Government (Head of Research and Intelligence at Kent County Council, Project manager Kent Economic Development Strategy), the university sector and the private sector where he has worked at senior levels as head of service and director.

He is passionate about assisting colleagues to grow through a focus on innovation, collaboration with a special emphasis on evidence-based working, leadership and reflective practice. In particular Peter holds a deep understanding of the unique challenges of developing services, projects and transformation in a political environment.

He is a specialist in innovation in the collection and application of socio-economic primary and secondary data, research and project management. Throughout his career, Peter has built an international profile of the highest standard to ensure that projects are developed on a credible, academic base of both quantitative and qualitative data. Additionally, he has a track record of securing funding from a range of UK and EU sources and is expert in the design and authorship of funding applications.

Since 2013 Peter has been active in the development of service innovation through the use of Social Impact Bonds as a mechanism to bring private finance to deliver savings to the public sector whilst ensuring the highest quality outcomes for individuals and communities. SIB work has focused on youth unemployment, skills, children’s social care, adult mental health, children’s and adolescent mental health, reducing hospital admissions and childhood obesity.

Peter is Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow, School of Education, visiting Lecturer (Masters of Public Administration at Sciences Po, Paris. Vice –president of the PASCAL International Member’s Association. Member of the Advisory Council of PASCAL International and has written extensively including Building Stronger Communities: Research Informing Policy and Practice (NIACE, 2008) and the forthcoming edited work Universities in a Time of Crises – Their Role in Regional Development (NIACE, 2014). Additionally Peter is former Chair of Kent Economic Research Forum and Special Advisor to Kent and Medway Economic Board.
